Every Winkom widget has its own link for an OBS Browser source: alerts, chat box, goal bar, viewer count, shoutouts, labels, a countdown and end credits. An overlay puts several widgets in one link, so a scene needs one source instead of ten.

One overlay per OBS scene
Make an overlay for each OBS scene, for example Just Chatting, Gaming and Starting soon, and paste each overlay’s link in its scene. A widget you already show with its own link is left out of every overlay by itself, so nothing appears twice.
Add it to OBS in four steps
- Copy the overlay’s link (or a widget’s link) in Winkom.
- In OBS, under Sources, click +, then Browser.
- Paste the link, set Width 1920 and Height 1080. A widget link shows its own size next to Copy link.
- Leave “Shutdown source when not visible” off and click OK.
Checked in OBS, not guessed
The page says “Found in OBS” the moment OBS opens the link, then checks the size the source reports. Wrong size, for example 1280 × 720? Right-click the source, Transform, Fit to screen, then Re-check. With Winkom for PC connected, “Fix it for me” does it for you.
Keep the link private
Each link carries a private key. Never show it on stream. If it leaks, reset it from More on the Overlays tab: the old link stops working at once.
Questions
What size should the Browser source be?
1920 × 1080 for an overlay. A single widget link shows its own size next to Copy link.
Do I need one overlay for every scene?
One per scene is the simplest: each scene shows what it needs, and switching scenes in OBS switches the overlay with it.
My overlay is blank in OBS. Is it broken?
An overlay is empty while nothing happens. Send a test alert, check the source is 1920 × 1080 and visible in the current scene, and copy the link again if you reset it.
Does it work with Streamlabs Desktop?
Yes. Any app with a Browser source works the same way.
