Who we are
Winkom is a toolkit for Kick streamers and their viewers (alerts, chat bot, moderation, games, overlays), built in Tunis. It is run by Mohamed Yassine Cherif, Athis-Mons (91200), France, the data controller for the data described here.
Winkom is independent and is not affiliated with Kick.
What we collect
- Kick account: when you log in, Kick gives us your Kick user id, username, profile picture and language. Kick also gives us access tokens so Winkom can act for you (read events, post the bot’s chat messages). Tokens are stored encrypted.
- Sessions: a session cookie keeps you signed in. We store only a hash of it, with the browser’s user agent and when it was last used, so you can see and sign out your devices.
- Sign-in history: when you signed in and out, and a short device label such as “Windows · Chrome”. No IP address and no token.
- Streamer channels: your settings, commands, timers, overlay layout, team members and their roles, and the media you upload (sounds, images, videos) with your confirmation that you have the rights to them.
- Chat and events: for channels that use Winkom, Kick sends us chat messages, follows, subs, gifts and KICKs, including the username of the viewer involved. That is what makes alerts, the bot, games and points work.
- Moderation (Guardian): chat messages are checked against the streamer’s rules. The channel’s team sees a short log of recent actions (username and up to 100 characters of the message, last 200 actions).
- Viewer points: per channel, your Kick user id, username, points balance, message count, first and last seen, and the history of points earned and spent. Points are earned only: no money is involved.
- Text-to-speech and voice messages: the text or recording you send to be played on stream.
- Support: what you write in a ticket, screenshots you attach (we strip their metadata), the page and browser it was sent from, and an email address if you give one without being signed in.
- Notifications: if you turn on push notifications, the push address of your device (encrypted), your time zone and quiet hours.
- Statistics: per-channel counts (followers, messages, peaks) that do not identify viewers, and which features are used.
We do not collect your Kick password, payment card details, ID documents or precise location. We do not store your IP address in our database; it is only used briefly to rate-limit abuse.
Why we use it
- To run the service you asked for: alerts, chat bot, moderation, points, games, overlays and stats (performance of a contract).
- To keep Winkom safe: rate limits, spam and raid protection, abuse investigations and security logs (legitimate interest).
- For optional features you turn on, such as push notifications, AI replies or voice messages (your consent, which you can withdraw by turning them off).
- To answer your support requests.
We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

Your rights
Under Tunisian law no. 2004-63 on the protection of personal data, and the GDPR where it applies to you, you can ask to access your data, get a copy, correct it, have it deleted, or object to its use. You can withdraw a consent at any time.
How: signed in, open your profile in the Viewer Hub (avatar menu, then “Your profile”) and use “Your data” to request a copy or deletion. You can also write to us from the support page. We answer within 30 days. You can sign out any device from your profile.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Instance Nationale de Protection des Données Personnelles (INPDP) in Tunisia, or to the data protection authority where you live.
If you are a viewer in a channel that uses Winkom
The streamer chooses which features are on in their channel. Your chat messages are processed to run them (alerts, moderation, points, games), as described above. You can ask the streamer, or us, about your data in that channel, and ask for your points history to be deleted.
Security
Connections use HTTPS. Kick tokens, push addresses and guest emails are encrypted; session ids are stored as hashes. Viewer text is always shown as plain text on overlays. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the INPDP as the law requires.
Age
You need a Kick account to use Winkom, so Kick’s own age rules apply. Winkom Match video calls are for adults only and use an age check.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or why, we update this page and its date. For important changes we also tell you in the dashboard before they apply.
